"Monsters vs. Aliens" hits theaters today with a host of big-name actors voicing the characters. Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Stephen Colbert, Renée Zellweger -- the list goes on and on. What few people know is that the film was originally planned as a live-action flick. We tracked down footage from the auditions and strung it together in the video below. We're being a bit presumptuous in assuming Dreamworks will use it in the DVD extras, but after they see this captivating footage we're sure they'll be looking us up.
